4x Fuel Points on gift cards and pharmacy prescriptions!

I remember the days when $10 of gas would just about fill up my gas tank. However, those days are long gone. If you're like me you either look into cutting out certain trips or saving on gas whenever possible. Kroger's fuel points is one of the many reasons I continue to shop there.

Kroger is offering two new ways for you to save on gas:
  • Earn fuel discounts on select gift cards purchased at Kroger.
  • Earn fuel discounts when you have prescriptions filled in Kroger pharmacies.
Pharmacy:
Pharmacy customers can earn fuel discounts on eligible prescriptions. Save even more when you get a generic drug.

Gift Cards:
If you've been in a Kroger before you notice they have a large selection of gift cards from various retailers, restaurants, sports and other outlets. Purchase gift cards at Kroger and get extra savings on gas.

Excludes: Kroger gift cards, the "Wishes"  line of gift cards, Green Dot prepaid reloadable products, MoneyPaks and 1-2-3  REWARDS ® Visa Prepaid Debit Card and ReCharge Card ™.

One way to get extra fuel points is to know the places you frequent, for instance if you shop at Home Depot quite a bit, purchase a gift card for the amount you have budgeted for Home Depot. And of course they always make great gifts for family members, and you reap the savings on gas!!

This link goes into detail about the fuel points program for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Based upon the information in the ad, it looks like the additional fuel points program will run from August 1 until September 11.
